Overview
While we hope all customers check their emails, at times it can be very useful to also send over a Text Message notifying your customer of the recently sent Letter. This typically increases visibility and speeds up the booking process.
To quickly set up this automation, follow the below steps!
Process to Set-up
Part 1: Create the SMS Template
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon) on the top right
- Go to Communications
- Select the SMS Templates tab
- Now click on +Create Custom SMS Template
- Copy and Paste the below information into the email template:
Template Name: Confirmation Email Sent
Template Type: CustomerBody:
Hello {CONTACT_FIRST_NAME}, this is {COMPANY_NAME}. We just sent you an email regarding your move. Please email us with any questions!
Example
Part 2: Create the Automation
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon) on the top right
- Go to Automations
- Click +Create Automation and enter a Name; we recommend SMS for Confirmation Letter Sent
- Select the trigger category as Confirmation Sent and click Done
- Now select Send SMS and input the following:
- Select Template Category: Customer
- Select Template: Confirmation Email Sent
- Select Recipient Kind: Primary Client
- Then click Done
- Save Automation and toggle the Automation to “on” by clicking the button to the left of the saved automation
