Overview
We are excited to introduce a new action that enables the automatic sending of a virtual walkthrough SMS to clients. This action can be easily added to any project automation, streamlining the process of scheduling virtual walkthroughs with clients.
Setting Up the Action: Send Virtual Walkthrough SMS
To configure this action:
- Navigate to Settings > Automations > Create Automation
- Select a trigger event > Project Created
- Select an action > Send Virtual Walkthrough SMS
There are no additional configurations required for this action. Once activated, it will automatically update the survey method to “Virtual Walkthrough” and send the virtual walkthrough SMS to the primary contact associated with the project.
How It Works
When the action is triggered, it performs two tasks:
- Update Survey Method: The survey method for the project will be updated to “Virtual Walkthrough.”
- Send SMS: A text message containing the link to complete the virtual walkthrough will be sent to the primary contact's phone number.
This ensures that the client receives the necessary information to complete their virtual walkthrough in a timely manner.
This feature offers an efficient way to ensure that clients receive their virtual walkthrough requests without manual intervention, improving workflow automation and client communication.
