Overview
To help your customer prepare for their upcoming move, it may be useful to send an Automated email the day before reconfirm details and outline expectations.
To quickly set up this automation, follow the below steps!
Process to Set-up

Part 1: Create the Email Template
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon) on the top right
- Go to Communications
- Select the Email Templates tab
- Now click on +Create Email Template
- Copy and Paste the below information into the email template:
Email Template Kind: Custom email template
Email Template Name: 1-Day Before Move Reminder
Recipients:
- TO: {CUSTOMER}
- CC: {COORDINATOR}Subject: {COMPANY_NAME} Arrives Tomorrow!
Body:
Hi {CONTACT_FIRST_NAME},
I’m checking in to see if there’s anything else we can do to make sure your move is as smooth as possible tomorrow.
If anything has changed since the original quote, please let me know and I’ll get it updated. I also want to confirm your contact information so that our Team is prepared on move day:
- {CONTACT_FULL_NAME}
- {CONTACT_PHONE_NUMBER}
- Origin: {JOB_ORIGIN_LOCATION_ADDRESS}
- Destination: {JOB_DESTINATION_LOCATION_ADDRESS}
- Start Time: {JOB_ARRIVAL_WINDOW_START}
If anything is not correct above, let me know and I’ll update it.
Now, a few Pro-Tips for Move Day:
- Have a plan for where you want your items placed at the destination so the team can efficiently load and unload the truck
- Make sure the truck can park as close to the location as possible
- Be sure to note any difficulties, such as stairs or long driveways, so that our movers can arrive with a plan to maximize time and efficiency.
- Designate a person in charge of directing our Movers. Mixed direction can cause for confusion and delays.

Example:
Part 2: Create the Automation
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon) on the top right
- Go to Automations
- Click +Create Automation and enter a Name; we recommend Day before Move Reminder
- Select the trigger category as Schedule, then Before Job Start, and input --
- Project Type: Select all
- Job Type: Select all
- Days Before: 1
- At: 8:00 am local time
- Select Tag(s): Leave as is
- Now select Stop If and input the following:
- Select Property: Move status
- Condition: Is not equal to
- Select value: Booked
- Then click Done
- Add the action, Send Email
- Select the email template name —> select Done
- Save Automation and toggle the Automation to “on” by clicking the button to the left of the saved automation
