Overview
Previously, in Supermove, proposals (quotes or confirmation letters) could be accessed indefinitely by customers. This led to issues like overbooking, where customers might accept a quote or sign a confirmation letter long after the initial proposal was sent. To address this problem, we've introduced a feature that allows moving companies to set expiration times for their proposals. When a proposal expires, customers must contact the moving company before accepting a quote or signing a confirmation letter.
Setting Proposal Expiration (Per Project Type)
In the settings, we've added a new option for setting proposal expiration times based on project types. This feature enables you to define default expiration timeframes for your proposals. By default, this option is not enabled, so proposals won't expire
If you choose to enable automatic proposal expiration, you can set the expiration timeframe in minutes, hours, or days
Sending a Proposal
When sending a proposal, if the default expiration timeframe is set, the sender will see the date and time when the proposal will expire. You can adjust this timeframe or turn off the expiration feature if needed
