We hope your busy season's going well so far! We're reaching out with our monthly newsletter to let you know about some new features and functionality that have been added to Supermove in the past month that we think you’ll find useful. Read on to learn more!
✅ Changes to confirmation flow
We're making some changes to how the confirmation flow works in Supermove. With these changes, you no longer have to worry about a project reverting back from 'booked' to 'hold' status or falling off the calendar if a confirmation letter is resent
Current state: When a Confirmation Letter is sent out, the project remains in 'hold' status until the confirmation letter is signed. Once signed, it updates the project to 'booked' status. If a project is in 'booked' status and a confirmation letter is resent, the project is updated back to 'hold' status, until the newest letter is signed. Once signed, it goes back to 'booked'.
Upcoming change: Starting July 25th, if a project is in 'booked' status and a confirmation letter is resent, it will keep the project as 'booked'.

⏰ NEW: Expiring proposals
To help you avoid accepting a quote or signing a confirmation for a day that's already fully booked, we have added the ability to set an expiration date for proposals when they are sent out.
When a customer views an expired proposal, they must first contact you before they are able to accept a quote or sign the confirmation letter.
This update is optional and does not affect existing flows. If an expiration timeframe is not provided, quotes and confirmations will continue to be valid unless they are resent.

❗ NEW: Workflow triggers
We have an exciting enhancement to our Workflows feature! Navigate to Settings > Workflow > Job to use two additional triggers: ‘Job created’ and ‘Job completed’.
These new triggers allow you to create processes that respond precisely to the creation or completion of specific jobs. Seamlessly add tasks when a pack job is created or send thank you emails when a move is complete.
Example: The workflow below automatically creates a task for accounting to review and close out a job when it’s complete.
🗓️ Update: Streamlined dispatching via the capacity calendar
Now you can effortlessly dispatch multiple jobs directly from the day view calendar, saving you time and effort. No more navigating through a bunch of screens or scrolling endlessly. Instead, simply navigate to Moves > Capacity > Day View and click on the ‘Truck’ button to get started.
🏢 Update: Storage importer improvements
We’ve made improvements to the storage project bulk importer to help new customers migrate existing storage customers into Supermove.
What’s new:
Support for Project Office and Warehouse notes to be included in bulk upload
Updated logic to handle optional billing client information
Handling pre-existing customers uploaded (again) via storage importer
We’ve reorganized the settings for payments and invoices, separating them from the 'project types' billing tab. This improves the configuration experience and allows for separate settings for payments and accounting. Additionally, you can now manage invoice export configurations through the Accounting Integration settings.
Accounting invoice export settings
You can now manage invoice export settings from company accounting settings, configuring them by project type.
Project type payments settings
You can now manage on a per-project type basis the supported forms of payment on the crew app (was previously under the “Billing” settings).
Project-type accounting settings
Accounting and invoice-related settings are now moved into a dedicated “Accounting” section under each Project Type (was previously under the “Billing” settings)
