Overview
This article will walk you through the steps for creating a long-distance project type in Supermove and adding job types to the project.
Steps to Create a Long Distance Project Type
1. Click on the Settings icon in the top right corner of your screen.
2. Click on View/Edit Project Types
3. Click on Create Project Type and name your move type (example: Long Distance Move or Interstate Move)
4. Fill out the project details as you normally would and make sure to Toggle ON "This is a long distance project type" and click on Create
How to Add Job Type(s)
1. Click into the storage project type that you've created and click on + Create Job Type
2. Fill in the information and click Save
- Name: Required
- Example: pack, load, or delivery
- Type: Optional
- Default Bill Template(s): Optional
- Default Project Date Type(s): Optional but highly recommend
- Sets whether this job type will automatically determine pack, load, and/or delivery dates for long distance trips. This can be overridden in the job page
