Create a Long Distance Trip

Overview 

After creating a long-distance project type, this article will cover creating a long-distance trip

Steps to Create a Long Distance Trip

1. Navigate to the Dispatch tab on the left-hand side bar

2. Click on Long Distance at the very top of the page

3. Ensure you're on the Shipments tab

4. Select all the shipments you would like to pair in a trip

5. Click on the Actions dropdown menu and select Create Trip

6. Enter the desired trip name and fill in the information. Click Save once you're done

 7. Now the confirmation pop up allows you to click on View Trip to see all the trip details, and to adjust dates and locations

Note: The selected shipments will be automatically moved from 'Unplanned' to 'Planned'. The trip is now in the 'Pending' status
