Overview
Manage all your billing, payment fees, tips, and payment settings in one place under Company Settings. Configure payment methods for the Office and Crew Apps, set tip options for customers in the Crew App, and streamline the payment experience.
Payment Methods
Gain greater control over payment methods and associated fees. Payment methods can now include additional fees or discounts, and the same method can be added multiple times to provide options such as "with a fee" or "no fee." When creating or editing a payment method, simply specify a value in the Payment Fee field to apply either a fee or a discount.
Payment Fees
Payment fees are now tied directly to payments rather than bills, allowing precise application to specific parts, such as Deposits, Pre-Payments, or project-level bills. Fees can be set as flat rates or percentages and are displayed in the Crew App, creating a seamless customer experience.
When creating or editing a payment method, you can specify a value in the Payment Fee field to apply either a fee or a discount.
Payments on the Crew App
In the Crew App, payment fees are displayed exclusively on the payment screen and are applied to the amount the user is paying. After selecting a payment method, the total payment amount, including any fees, is displayed on the following screen for complete transparency.
Payments on the Office App
In the Office App, whenever a credit card is charged or a payment is recorded, the associated payment fee is shown to ensure clarity on the total amount charged.
- For example, if the payment amount is $100 and a 3% credit card fee applies, the total charged to the card will be $103.
Payment Fees on the Project Page
On the Project Page, payment fees are displayed below all bills and the tips section as the final calculation before the grand total. Any collected payment fees are shown here to ensure the entire bill, including all fees, adds up correctly.
Billing & Tips (Crew App)
This section allows you to manage payment-related options displayed to customers during the payment process in the Crew App. Also, under Billing Adjustments, you can apply additional charges to bills, which will be visible to the crew before the customer completes their payment. The Billing section includes options like showing saved cards on the Crew App.
Tips
You can now edit your Tip percentages right from the Payments page. This gives you the freedom to add, modify, or remove tip percentages as per your preferences.
With these features, you can fully customize and streamline the billing and payment experience for both your team and your customers.
