Overview
You can now view customers from your accounting integrations directly within Supermove. This enhancement allows you to access data from external systems like QuickBooks and establish a direct link between a Supermove client and a QuickBooks customer.
Accounting Customers
In the Accounting Integration settings, we’ve introduced a new “Import” tab where you can find all current and future data imported from your accounting integration. Currently, this includes Accounting Items (linked to Supermove Bill Items) and Accounting Customers (linked to Supermove Clients).
Data on the Imports tab is refreshed hourly. If you need to immediately sync any updates made in your external accounting system, you can use the manual import button in the top right corner to bring those updates into Supermove.
Client Mapping – Create & Edit Profile
We’ve added an accounting section to the create and edit profile pages, allowing you to explicitly link a Supermove Client to a QuickBooks Customer. If a previous export has already created a link, the corresponding QuickBooks Customer will be displayed. You can easily change which QuickBooks Customer a client is linked to by selecting a different option from the dropdown menu.
Please note that this dropdown does not affect previously exported invoices. If you want to update all past invoices with the new client mapping, you will need to update the client and then re-export the invoices to reflect the changes in QuickBooks.
Invoice Export Mapping Process
The invoice export process has been updated to prioritize the explicit link between a Supermove Client and a QuickBooks Customer. If no explicit link exists, the system will revert to using email, phone number, and client name to determine the correct customer mapping.
