Overview
In this article, we’ll explore how the latest updates simplify the process of connecting Supermove Bill Items to QuickBooks Products & Services. You can now manage the entire linking process directly within the product, without needing to manually import or export CSV files. Additionally, we’ve introduced support for mapping bill items by position to QuickBooks.
To Start Mapping
Before starting the mapping process, we recommend importing the latest updates from your QuickBooks account. This will ensure you have all the necessary items to successfully map the Supermove Items. You can import by going to the Company Settings > Accounting > Import.
Bill Items Update
To better manage large billing libraries, we’ve organized bill item types into separate categories. Fees, Discounts, and Supplies are now grouped into three distinct sections, allowing you to navigate between them easily.
Linking Accounting Items
When editing a bill item, you can now choose an Accounting Item directly from your accounting integration (QuickBooks Online and Desktop). Once you select and save an accounting item, it will be linked to the bill item.
Per Position Bill Items
For bill items tied to specific positions, you can now select a different Accounting Item for each position. This flexibility allows you to map various products and services within QuickBooks according to the position.
Accounting Items
When you view accounting items from your accounting integration, you can now see which bill items are linked to each accounting item. By clicking on these items, you can open the bill item settings to change the linked accounting item if needed.
