Overview
Once a customer has signed the confirmation letter and the move is booked on the calendar, you may still need to adjust and make edits to that project/move. This article outlines helpful best practices and how you can apply those changes.
Common Situations You May Encounter
- Editing the Date of the Move: Once your customer has booked the move, you can still change the date of the move by clicking the Actions button in the top righthand corner. From there, you will be taken to the Job Editor page, and you can change the Date field
- Changing the type of Job: To change the job-type (e.g. Pack job instead of a Delivery job), you can navigate to the Actions button in the top righthand corner. From there, you will be taken to the Job Editor page where you can change the Job type from the dropdown menu
- Editing the Bills/Fees: To adjust and add new fees to the job, you can navigate to the Billing section of the job page and click Edit to add new Billing Items or Billing Rules
- Resending the Confirmation Letter: Even though your customer has signed the confirmation letter, there may be situations where you may need to re-send and have a new signed copy. To do this click Actions >> Send Confirmation, and you'll be able to trigger a new message
Common Pitfalls
Please be aware that adjustments can be made to a job even if the customer has already booked the move. However, please refrain from changing the Project-type of a move once it's been created. Doing so may generate errors with the billing template and configurations saved in your settings.
