Create Storage Containers

Overview

Before taking any Storage actions, creating your Storage Containers is likely helpful. This article covers how to set up and create these Containers in Supermove, to help match exactly what is available in your Warehouse

Not familiar with Containers? 

If you're not familiar with Containers, a storage container is typically a secure unit used to store customers' belongings safely. These containers protect items from damage, dust, and weather, and come in various sizes. They ensure organized storage, making it easier to manage and access items when needed

Steps to Create

1. First click on Storage from the left-side tool bar 

2. Then, click on Containers

3. Click + Add Containers and then select Add Container

4. Enter in all of the container information and click Save

Breakdown of Add Container Fields

Field	Status	Notes
Container Type	Required	Make sure Container Types are created in the Settings > Storage section
Container ID/ Name	Required	Container ID is the unique ID for the Container
Where is this Container	Optional	For the location you can choose a warehouse and specify coordinates Or select a Custom location -- To do this, toggle the "custom" button above the location field
Warehouse Coordinates	Optional	N/A
Container Notes	Optional	N/A

Note: Be sure to repeat these steps to ensure all of your containers are set up within Supermove!
