Overview
Three new events (triggers) have been added to Automations to assist with handling cancelled and completed jobs/projects. These triggers are designed primarily for Automations that send notifications when there are changes in job/project status.
You can use this trigger to send an email notification to the Office team, to assign a task, to email the customer, etc.
"Project Cancelled" Trigger
When the last job on a project is cancelled, the project is considered cancelled. This trigger will activate anytime projects are cancelled. It can be filtered by project type and project tags to only react to specific situations.
"Job Cancelled" Trigger
When a single job is cancelled, this event will be fired. This trigger will activate anytime a job is cancelled, including when the last job on a project is cancelled (which would trigger both “Job Cancelled” and “Project Cancelled” at the same time). It can be filtered by project type, job type, and jobs/project tags to react to specific situations.
"Project Completed" Trigger
When the last job on a project is completed, the entire project will be completed. This trigger will activate anytime a project is completed. It also can be filtered by project type and project tags to react to specific situations.
